Two Indian men have been arrested in Tamil Nadu while attempting to smuggle four billion rupees worth narcotics to Sri Lanka, Indian media said.
Revenue intelligence officials conducting vehicle checks in Ramananthapurum district in TN have arrested the suspects and seized a car loaded with 35 kg of methamphetamine and 50 kgs of cannabis oil.
The large stock narcotics were planned to be sent via sea to Sri Lanka from the shores of Rameswaram.
