Two containers of beedi leaves illegally imported into Sri Lanka was seized by the Central Intelligence Beauru of Sri Lanka Customs.
The containers waere inspected this afternoon at the Orugudawatta RCT customs inspection yard in the presence of State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
