A group of unidentified individuals who arrived on motorbikes had launched an attack on the house of Jaffna District Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP Sivagnanam Shritharan located at Hindu College Lane this afternoon.
Two persons including Mr Shritharan's son have suffered injuries due to the attack.
Police have launched an investigation over the incident. Mr Shritharan was in Colombo today attending Parliament sessions and he said he was currently on his way back to Jaffna after learning of the incident. (PCK)
