The Kollupitiya supermarket belonging to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has been taken over by the Urban Development Authority (UDA).
An extraordinary gazette (No.2224/52) has been issued by Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Mahinda Rajapaksa ordering the taking over of the land of the Kollupitiya supermarket.
Accordingly, land bearing No.225 in Kollupitiya Road, land belonging to Nos. 18, 20 and 28 in St. Micheal’s Road and Serendib Road and land bearing assessment No. 13 in Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha will be vested with the UDA.
