US Ambassador to Sri Lanka calls on Foreign Minister

News

The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Alaina B. Teplitz called on Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday, Foreign Ministry said.

State Minister for Regional Co-operation Tharaka Balasuriya also joined this meeting held at the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting a number of issues, including diplomatic and economic matters between Sri Lanka and the US that are vital to both countries were discussed, the Ministry said.
