US Embassy lifts travel restrictions for Arugam Bay

News

The U.S. Embassy in Colombo has removed the travel restrictions that were imposed on American citizens for Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka on October 23, 2024.

The embassy advises all U.S. citizens to consult the Travel Advisory for Sri Lanka, stay alert, remain aware of their surroundings, and report any suspicious activities or emergencies to local authorities by dialing 119.
