The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced 18-hour water cut in several parts of the Colombo District on Saturday (Aug. 19).
The water supply will be interrupted from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday (August 19) to 2:00 a.m. on Sunday (August 20).
As a result, water supply will be disrupted in Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kollonawa, and Kotikawatte, as well as Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana, and Katubedda Pradeshiya Sabha areas.
The water cut is being implemented due to maintenance work on the Electricity Board's overhead power line system.
