Two men, aged 36 and 49 were killed when a wild elephant attacked their bike in Sooriyawewa, Hambantota last night (7), police said.
Both the deceased were residents of Meegahapura in Sooriyawewa and worked at the Sooriyawewa International Cricket Stadium.
Police urged the public to avoid taking roads in areas where wild elephants and other wild animals roam at night.
