A youth who reportedly circulated fabricated picture claiming that to be photographs taken of bodies piled up at the Kalubowila hospital has been arrested by the police.
The 36-year-old person from Nugegoda was produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate courts and released on a surety bail of Rs 100,000. He was told to appear in courts on December 16.
Police claimed that the pictures were of a foreign country.
