The Mount Lavinia Crime Investigation Bureau has arrested a suspect who allegedly aided and abetted a shooting directed at a house in Kohuwela.
The incident had occurred in the early hours of June 15, when two unidentified suspects on a motorbike opened fire at a house located along Kalubowila Temple Road in Kohuwela.
The Mount Lavinia Crime Investigation Bureau commenced investigations into the shooting and its probe led to the arrest of a 21-year-old suspect in Kohuwela yesterday (7). He was arrested on charges of aiding and abetting the shooting.
The suspect, a resident of Malwana, has been handed over to the Kohuwela Police and further investigations are ongoing.
