Yupun Abeykoon won the bronze medal in the 100 meter event at the Commonwealth Games clocking 10.14 seconds this morning.
He earlier qualified for the finals by recording a time of 10.20 seconds.
The Gold medal was won by Kenya's Ferdinand Omanyala recording a time of 10.02 seconds and the silver by South African Akani Simbine who clocked 10.13 seconds.
