Activists call for removal of CBSL Governor

The Anti Corruption Front (ACF) yesterday held a seminar at the Public Library Auditorium calling on the Government not to reappoint Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran after his term comes to an end. Those who spoke at the seminar insisted that the Government could not reappoint Mahendran to the position given the scandals that have swirled around him during his short stint as Governor of the country's Central Bank. Activists from a range of civil society organizations attended the seminar and addressed the gathering.
