Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra WIjegunaratne who is alleged to have harboured 'Navy Sampath' a chief suspect in the abduction of eleven youth in 2008, has reported before the Fort Magistrate's Court.
Admiral Wijegunaratne was expected to report to the Organised Crimes Prevention Division of the CID yesterday (Oct 28) in order to record a statement.
Reportedly, he had not done so as he claimed to be uninformed about the order issued by the CID.
