Former Navy Commander Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda has left the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following eight hours of questioning a short while ago.
Admiral Karannagoda had arrived at the CID for the fourth time today (Apr 04) to record a statement pertaining to the abduction of youths case in 2008/09.

Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda has arrived at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for the fourth to record a statement over the abduction of youths case in 2008/09.
The Supreme Court had previously instructed Mr. Karannagoda, to report to the CID in connection with the case.
The order was issued when he filed a fundamental rights petition seeking the prevention of his arrest over the case.
