Admiral Wijegunaratne to be produced before CID on Nov 27

Chief of Defence staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne has been ordered to be present before the CID on November 27 to record a statement over the harbouring of Lt. Commander Chandana Prasad Hettiarachchi alias 'Navy Sampath'

'Navy Sampath' is the 10th suspect involved in the abduction of eleven youths in 2008.

Admiral Wijegunaratne is expected to report to the Organised Crimes Investigation Unit of the CID at 10 am.
