The Attorney General has filed a motion to revoke the permission granted to Perpetual Treasuries Chairman to travel during the hearing into the Central Bank bond scam.
Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today (Jun 19) informed the prosecution to file the request during tomorrow's hearing on the case.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court had previously lifted the travel ban on Mr. Aloysius, the Chairman of Perpetual Trasuries Ltd, who has been named as a suspect in the case.
Court had permitted the suspect to travel to Singapore from July 1 - 11 in order to attend the marriage ceremony of his daughter.
Geoffrey Aloysius, is the father of Arjun Aloysius who has been named as one of the chief suspects in the treasury bond scam.
