In addition to the first quarantine centre constructed by the Sri Lanka Air Force in Vanni which houses 206 persons who returned from abroad recently, three more quarantine centers are under construction in Palaly, Iranamadu and Mullaitivu, Air Force said.
These quarantine centers are managed by medical professionals of the Air Force with the coordination of officials attached to the Ministry of Health. The Air Force said that aim of these initiatives is to assist the government efforts in preventing the novel Coronavirus outbreak in Sri Lanka.
