All Muslim Ministers, State and Deputy Ministers have decided to resign from ministerial positions, Minister Rauff Hakeem said today (Jun 03).
He made these remarks while addressing a media conference at Temple Trees this evening.
"We will not allow the government to weaken despite resigning from our ministerial portfolios. We will work to protect the government while being back benchers in future," Minister Hakeem told reporters.
Parliamentarians Rishad Bathiudeen, Rauff Hakeem, M.H.A. Abdul Haleem, A.H.M. Fowzie, Kabir Hashim, and several other key lawmakers attended the media conference.
