Ammunition cache discovered in Medirigiriya

Investigations are ongoing over the recovery of an ammunition cache in Medirigiriya. The ammunition cache was discovered inside the hollow of a tree last night. 

According to police, the haul included 60 live rounds of T56 ammunition, five MPMG bullets, three 84S bullets, an anti-aircraft round a 40mm grenade.
