Two female and one male suspect have surrendered to police over the attack on the Angulana police station this afternoon.
The suspects surrendered to Western Province Senior Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Deshabandu Tennakoon.
The suspects have been handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police for further investigations.
Police fired tear gas after a group of persons pelted the Angulana police station with rocks today as tensions flared over the police shooting of a fisherman last week. The case was taken up today before the Moratuwa Magistrate's Court.
Three police officers alleged to have been involved in the incident have been interdicted.
