Well-known author and poetess, Anne Ranasinghe, 91, a survivor of the holocaust, passed away late on Saturday night at her home on Rosmead Place, Colombo 7. She is the wife the late Prof. D.A. Ranasinghe, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Colombo and later Chancellor.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 21, at 5 p.m. at the General Cemetery, Kanatte. The cortege will leave her residence, 82, Rosmead Place, Colombo 7. The cremation will take place at the crematorium at 5 p.m. (Kumudini)
