Anti-SAITM strike hits hospital services

News

Many hospitals island-wide were partly paralyzed today due to the ongoing strike by the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) against the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM). 

However, doctors from other unions were seen attending their work at some hospitals. Meamwhile, a section of nurses unions were also keeping away from duties.
