Another two naval personnel who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) were discharged after full recovery from IDH hospital yesterday, the Navy said.
The two naval persons who were on leave, were tested positive to coronavirus by PCR test at Anuradhapura and Agalawatta hospitals, on April 26 and they were directed to IDH hospital for treatment. Since these patients were confirmed negative to coronavirus by PCR tests while under treatment, they were discharged from the hospital yesterday.
Further, the family members of these two naval persons who were on leave, have been directed to Naval quarantine centers and these two discharged from the IDH hospital are to be kept under quarantine for another 14 days following the healthcare instructions, according to the Navy. Including these two persons, four naval persons who were affected with coronavirus, have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
