President’s Counsel Ariya Bandara Rekawa was sworn in as the Governor of Uva Province, at the President’s Official Residence, today, Presidential Secretariat said. Secretary to the President, Austin Fernando was also present on this occasion.
A former secretary to the Ministry of Trade , former additional secretary and chief finance official have been arrested over corruption charges , the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption said.
