Army conducts Shramadana on Sri Pada
Soldiers from military camps in Badulla and Kandy conducted a Shramadana campaign this morning (23) at Sri Pada.
The soldiers collected garbage that lay strewn on the way to the mountain peak.
Last week, a Shramadana campaign conducted by the armed forces and volunteers collected over 100, 000 plastic bottels that had been discarded on the mountain just one month into the annual Sri Pada pilgrimage season.
