Arrested Indian national over information of alleged Presidential assassination plot says that his life is in danger
Indian national Mersalin Gomez who was arrested over the alleged assasination plot of President Sirisena and former defence scretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has given a special statement before the Fort Magistrate's Court today (Oct 23).
Mr. Gomez in his statement said that there was a danger of a threat to his life while in custody of the CID.
Accordingly, Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne had asked the suspect to provide the statement in writing.
