Arsalan Khawaja, who is alleged to have framed university colleague Kamar Nizamdeen has been re-remanded yesterday (Dec 28), Australian media ABC reported.
Mr. Khawaja was arrested and produced before courts on December 04, following which he was released on a surety bail of A$ 50,000.
He has been charged on counts of dirupting the course of justice and forgery.
Mr. Khawaja, who is the brother of Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has been accused of setting up a plot to trap Mr. Nizamdeen over allegations of plotting to assassinate severel key political leaders including former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
