At least 26 injured in Southern Expressway accident
At least 26 persons were injured after a bus crashed into a parked lorry on the Southern Expressway this morning.
The injured include 14 females and 12 males.
According to reports, the bus, which had been transporting a group of persons to Matara, had hit a barrier before crashing into the lorry parked on the side of the road.
The lorry had been carrying workers from the Road Development Authority (RDA).
