At least five dead in Horana factory accident

Five people are confirmed dead and at least 11 others have been admitted to hospital with injuries after an accident at a factory at Bellapitiya in Horana. 

According to initial reports, a factory employee had fallen into an ammonia tank at the factory and several others who tried to rescue him had also lost their lives. 

Several of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
