Attorney General withdraws appeal against Gnanasara Thero and 12 others' acquittal
The Appeal by the Attorney General challenging the Colombo High Court decision to acquit BBS General Secretary Gnanasara Thero and 12 others was withdrawn today (Nov 23).
Previously, AG Jayantha Jayasuriya filed an appeal challenging the Supreme Court's decision to accquit Gnanasara Thero and 12 others over an attack carried out at the Calvary church in Thalhena in 2008.
