The Director General of the Bribery Commission, Dilrukshi Dias Wickramasinghe,said the commission had initiated action on 948 complaints of the 1,600 received by the commission.
Speaking at a briefing she said it was their ardent duty to " create a situation of zero tolerance on bribery and corruption in the country."
She also added that her first step was to clean the commission and said "Should there be any complaint against the Commission, I will have seen them resolved."
