While the country waits in suspense for the Supreme Court to deliver its historic verdict on President Maithripala Sirisena's gazette notification to dissolve Parliament this week, British High Commissioner James Dauris took to his official Twitter handle calling the verdict one of those "rare decisions that shape history."
Mr Dauris Tweeted the following :
As a former law student myself I'm looking forward to reading this week's Supreme Court judgement. It will be one of those rare decisions that shape history. Law students in #SriLanka will be studying the conclusions it comes to and reasoning it sets out for generations to come!
