A British national is reported to have drowned in seas off Bentota. The body is currently being held at the Nagoda General Hospital’s morgue.
The deceased has been identified as a 45-year old by the name of Criechett Andrew.
It is reported that another British national has also been admitted to the hospital in the incident.
Investigations into the incident continue.
