Bunker discovered in a house belonging to a businessman in Jaffna

The STF have uncovered an underground bunker located in a home belonging to a businessman in Nawanthurai, in Jaffna yesterday (April 28).

Officials noted that the bunker and the house was a recent construction and not one completed during the time of the war. Further it was reported that the residents of the three-storeyed house were unable to explain clearly as to why a bunker had been constructed.

Jaffna Police's STF arm is carrying out further investigations and the residents are being questioned further
