Bus fares along the Southern Expressway reduced by Rs 20
The bus fares along the Southern Expressway have been reduced by Rs.20 since yesterday (April 1).
Accordingly, the new bus fare from Makumbura to Galle will cost Rs. 420 from today. The new bus fare from Makumbura and Matara will be Rs.530.
In a statement, the National Transport Commission said that bus services from the Makumbura Multipurpose Transport Service commenced from yesterday.
Accordingly, the prices of bus fares have been revised after the multimodal tranport centre was vested was declared open on March 31.
