Internal Transport Minister Ranjith Madduma Bandara today confirmed that the fare of Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) and private buses will be reduced in eight to ten percent from February 01. One rupee deduction will be imposed on the minimum SLTB and private bus fare, stated the Minister.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
