The cabinet of ministers has approved a one-year service extension for Senior DIG's S M Wickramasinghe and Ravi Seneviratne.
Mr. Wickramasinghe is the Senior DIG in-charge of the Central, Uva, and Sabaragamuwa provinces while Mr. Senaviratne is the Senior DIG of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
The services of Mr. Wickramasinghe and Mr. Senaviratne were set to end on April 21 and 22 respectively.
