Cabinet approval has been granted to import x-ray scanners to detect explosives upon a proposal put forward by Minister Arjuna Ranatunga today (Aug 20).
These x-ray scanners are to be installed at the Bandaranaike International Airport and the Colombo Harbour in a bid to prevent explosives being smuggled into the country.
