Canadian, Chinese envoys call on President Rajapaksa
Canadian High Commissioner David McKinnon called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (Dec 2), the President's Office said.
McKinnon had congratulated President Rajapaksa's election victory on behalf of the Canadian government.
Meanwhile, China Foreign Ministry Department of Asian Affairs Director-General Wu Jianghao also called on the newly-elected President this morning.
Jianghoa once served as the Chinese Amabassador to Sri Lanka.
