Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith has reiterated his call to investigate the persons or groups responsible for planning out the Easter Sunday attack instead looking only into the lapses leading to the attack.
The Cardinal said the government should investigate the persons or organisations that provided money and organised the attack.
He said action also should be taken against those officers for the lapses and it was no use for officers to come before the presidential commission and shed crocodile tears.
The Cardinal delivering a sermon said that the persons affected with the attack are awaiting justice and he was against any persons who try to shield those who failed to prevent it.
