The case filed against Ven Galagodaththe Gnanasara Thero for making defamatory remarks against the Quran has been fixed for December 2 by the Chief Magistrate's court today (Aug 5).
Gnanasara Thero is alleged to have made defamatory remarks against the Quran after forcing his way into a press conference organised by Ven Wataraka Vijitha Thero of the Jathika Bala Sena movement.
Vijitha Thero had filed a case over the incident against Gnanasara Thero, the general secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena movement.
