The case filed against a former senior police official over the killing of national ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen has been fixed for further hearing on October 23, by the Colombo High Court.
Former senior deputy inspector general Anura Senanayake has been charged for concealing evidence in the case pertaining to the killing of the ruggerite.
He had been granted bail after the Attorney General had filed charges against him under Section 198 of the Penal Code.
Senanayake had not appeared before the court today as he has been hospitalised.
