CBSL Governor pays farewell visit to Speaker

Central Bank Governor Dr Indrajit Coomaraswamy who is expected to resign this month paid a farewell visit to the Speaker Karu Jayasuriya recently.

Former Finance Secretary Dr R.H.S. Samarathunga and the Parliament's Secretary General Dhammika Dasanayake were also present during the event.

They were hosted to a lunch by the Speaker at his official dining room.

A spokesman for the Central Bank Governor earlier told Times Online that Dr. Coomaraswamy will vacate his position on December 20.
