Sri Lanka’s Central Bank will announce the ‘Road Map: Monetary and Financial Sector Policies for 2017 and beyond’ on Tuesday, January 3 outlining the policies and strategies to be followed this year by the banking regulator.
Governor of the Bank Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy will make the policy statement on the occasion in the presence of corporate sector and the media, the regulator announced.
This is done every year, in the first week of January .The Road Map 2017 is the 11th consecutive policy announcement in the series which commenced in 2007. (Bandula)
