The Monetary Policy Review – No. 6 of 2018, which was previously scheduled to be issued on Friday September 28 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 2 at 7.30 am, the Central Bank announced today.
The Monetary Board will arrive at a decision on policy interest rate at their meeting while reviewing the economic growth, inflation and external sector performance. It is also expected to take a policy decision on the depreciation of the rupee which is rapidly weakening at present. (Bandula)
