Two Chief Ministers for Western and North Western Provinces were appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena ysterday at the President’s Official Residence. According to President Media Unit, Mr. Isuru Dewapriya was appointed as the Chief Minister of the Western Province while Mr. Dharmasiri Dassanayake was appointed as the Chief Minister of North Western Province.
Ajith Gallage, the owner of a Bird Park in Nagarawawa, Hambantota, has been remanded over allegations of concealing illegally imported motorcycles, in a warehouse owned by him.
