A 17-member high-level Chinese state delegation arrived in the country for a three-day official visit today (Sept 17).
The delegation had touched down at the Bandaranaike International Airport on a chartered flight at around 4:30 pm.
Chen Min'er, Secretary and politburo member of the Communist Party was among the members of the delegation.
Minister Arjuna Ranatunga and Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan received the delegation at the airport.
