The Chinese PLA Naval Ship "865" arrived at the Port of Colombo today on a goodwill visit, navy said. The ship was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on her arrival. The ship is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka on February 28.
The government today granted permission for an Iranian warship with 208 on board to enter the country.
