CID questions CJ
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today recorded a statement from Chief Justice Mohan Peiris over complaint on involvement in conspiracy to coup on the election day at Temple Trees, Minister. John Amaratunge said. Earlier a complain lodged by the Foreign Affairs minister Mangala Samaraweera alleged that the Chief Justice was present at the Temple Trees on the election day night.
