CMC councillor N.M. Thajudeen arrested over discovery of swords in Slave Island
Noordeen Mohamed Thajudeen, a member of the Colombo Municipal Council has been arrested in connection with yesterday's seizure of 46 swords in Slave Island.
Mr. Thajudeen who represents the United National Party in the local authority, was arrested during the ongoing investigation pertaining to the discovery of swords at the Slave Island mosque last afternoon, Police said.
